Description
The TSG8200 serves as an independent fuel gauge solution, compatible with a variety of analog front-ends (AFEs) or microcontrollers (MCUs) equipped with ADCs. It excels at computing key metrics for the entire battery pack including the remaining capacity (SOC), health status (SOH), residual operating time, and charging duration.
The TSG8200 incorporates integrated flash memory, logging vital parameters throughout the full span of lithium battery usage, such as cycle count, peak operating current, and charging current. Furnished with an extensive selection of electrochemical models, it is capable of supporting a broad spectrum of Li-ion battery chemistries. The intelligent configuration feature simplifies its operation, while advanced customization options permit precise tailoring to a diverse range of applications.
By leveraging high-precision voltage, current, and temperature input data, the TSG8200 can achieve 3% SOC accuracy.
Moreover, the TSG8200 features standard I2C and URAT communication interfaces, ensuring the transmission of various types of data.
